This is the first time I am leaving outside Vietnam and it is a great experience. The Culture is not very different. One thing I like a lot about Singapore is the cleanliness and the regular hygiene that people maintain. Safety is also my favourite point; there are cameras everywhere so the crime rate is very low. Also, Singapore is extremely thoughtful about the pedestrians; there are fences & shelters everywhere. Food is extremely diverse in terms of culture as well as price and it is a place of events – with some festival being organized every week.
The lecturers are always happy to help anytime during the day. They even come to school on Sunday. Due to low Student -to - Lecturer ratio, they can use a different approach for each student, based on what works best for each of us.
The project-driven environment made me ready to work in a company and made me familiar with real life projects and challenges. Now, I feel that I am ready to be a part of the Industry.
The best thing about MAGES is that the lecturers start the course from foundation, so it was quite easy for me to pick up as I had no prior knowledge of Programming
Our lecturers were all Industry Professionals, so all modules were Industry relevant. Also, during my internship with MAGES Studio, I had the opportunity to learn from a senior staff , which greatly improved my programming skills.
