TESTIMONIAL

STUDENTS

Ellie Cooper

Mentee of Quentin Gabriel; Freelancer Concept Artist

When I graduated from university, I felt like I was going nowhere with my art. I had no direction and no idea what was expected of my portfolio. Quentin came at the perfect time for me & has done more than transform my art. He redefined what concept art was for me, and put me on a path where I could keep working on my own with confidence. He provided great critique with kindness & encouragement, which important when you are learning.

POUYA MOAYEDI

(Mentee of Quentin Gabriel) Concept Artist

Quentin's mentorship taught me how to have a clear mindset of what should and shouldn't be done when producing an art piece. His invaluable feedback & advice undoubtedly gave me a clearer picture of what this industry is all about and how it should be treated like any other professional career development. Quentin is a true motivator... He won't rest until he sets you up for success.

The classes are really interesting. Our lecturer is the best lecturer I’ve ever had. No one has ever sat down and taught me how to paint like that. The lecturer not only taught us how to texture, he also taught us major skills like lighting and ambience. The hands-on approach at MAGES was a game changer for my art.

Blessica

Drawing has always been my passion. Every time I draw time flies. I decided to take arts as my career, and I found MAGES. MAGES have been a big part of my art journey. I lacked the fundamentals stuff, until I joined MAGES. In MAGES, I learn from scratch until the advanced skills. From someone that doesn't know anything about anatomy, material study, colour theory etc, now I can say that I could make a great piece of art because of MAGES. And in every module, they lead me to be able to express my ideas into my artwork.
