Virtual Reality is when we immerse ourselves in a 3D virtual space using specialised hardware like Headsets.

Students would dip their toes in the expanding ocean of future interactive technologies, unlocking and enhancing their creative potential.

Course Information

The Course will introduce students to Unreal Engine for Virtual Reality. Unity Engine is the easiest development software to learn, and provides a strong foundation to create VR Environments and Experiences for multiple platforms.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Understand the basic concepts of Virtual Reality technologies for Interactive Environments.
  • Learn what makes VR experiences “tick”
  • Create their own Environments and populate them with Objects, in VR
  • Build an Immersive Application using Virtual Reality

DURATION: 30 Hours

AWARD: Certificate of Participation

PREREQUISITES: Age: 11 – 17 years old Recommended

SOFTWARE TAUGHT: Unreal Engine, C#

COURSE FEE: INR 18,000

TIME : MON-FRI, 9:30AM – 6:00PM SGT

NOTE : OCULUS VR HEADSET REQUIRED

STUDENTS WILL LEAVE THE COURSE HAVING DESIGNED AND CREATED THEIR OWN VR APP.

Rajesh Chakravarthy has worked in digital art and design for the past 18 years (stationed as an educator within various creative media and tech schools for 9 of those years) and is a veteran AR/VR developer and an Unreal Engine Authorised Instructor. His leadership has led many students to successful careers within prominent companies around the globe. Rajesh’s research and hard work has made great strides in Augmented and Virtual Reality, as he intersects design, technology, and business through his many ventures in prototyping and education.
