ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Age : 16 years old or above,
3 GCE ‘O’ Levels incl Minimum of C6 Grade in English
IMDA Grant applicable for Singaporeans & PRs above 25 years of age only.
Academic Requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements
- 2 credit passes at GCE ‘O’ Level in any subjects excluding English or
- Or GCSE/IGCSE-5 subject passes including English in Grade A to C
- Or ITE NITEC or Higher NITEC or equivalent (eg Post Nitec Certificate in Office Skills/Certificate in Business Skills)
- Or Singapore Integrated Program: Completed IP Year 4
- Or At least 2 WSQ Statements of Attainment in Workplace Literacy or Numeracy (WPLN) at Level 4 or 5 and above (eg under Employability Skills System (ESS) certification)
- Or ITE modular certificate at the post-secondary level (non-tertiary) or equivalent
- Or Foundation Certificate in Art and Technology or Certificate in Art or Animation related course in MAGES or other institutions with similar qualifications
- For International – Applicants should have an Equivalent to Year 10** qualification with an average of 65% (** from the respective home country of the applicant) with proof of pass in English
- Alternate Admission Requirements-Submit Portfolio and pass the interview with Academic Director and be approved by Academic Board
English Proficiency Requirement
- IELTS 5.5 or Pass in the English Language at GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualifications.
- Applicants who do not have IELTS 5.5 must pass MAGES English Proficiency Test; approved by Academic Board
Age Requirement – 16 years of age
MATURE CANDIDATE
- Age Requirement – 30 years of age
- Working Experience Requirement – 8 years of working experience

I don't know if I can code, I do not have any tech experience. How do I know if I'm eligible?
Our #GetIntoTech Programs are meticulously crafted for the purpose of career-transition for learners from diverse non-tech backgrounds into a tech role.
All we require as a pre-requisite to join the programs is the drive to learn and enter the tech industry in roles such as web developer, UI/UX designer, product manager, cybersecurity professional and more.
Does this program guarantee a job placement?
Under IMDA’s Tech Immersion Placement Programme, our programs come with dedicated placement assistance, wherein we assist our learners until 6 months after course completion with resume and interview prep.
We expect learners to be proactive by taking charge in seeking employment, as detailed in terms & conditions set forth by IMDA.
What are the conditions to qualify for IMDA Grant?
