You need a deep understanding of the current marketplace for video games for a successful career in the video games industry. This course will teach you how to manage game business and will cover other topics of legal issues as well. Business management games will also be taught to nurture the communication skills, business management skills. This 49 hour course by MAGES Institute of excellence will also focus on crowdfunding and steps to launch a crowdfunding offering. Students will also learn how to lead discussions that arise during funding negotiations.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Age: 18 years old and above
- Recommended for current Game Developer
- Open to both Singaporean & International Students (Including PR, Student Pass, Work Permit, S Pass & E Pass)
Minimum Academic Requirement
2 credit passes at GCE ‘O’ Level in any subjects excluding English Or GCSE/IGCSE-5 subject passes, including English, at Grade A to C
Or ITE NITEC or Higher NITEC or equivalent (eg Post Nitec Certificate in Office Skills/Certificate in Business Skills)
Or Singapore Integrated Programme: Completed IP Year 4
Or At least 2 WSQ Statements of Attainment in Workplace Literacy or Numeracy (WPLN) at Level 4 or 5 and above (eg under Employability Skills System (ESS) certification)
Or ITE modular certificate at the post-secondary level (non-tertiary) or equivalent
Or Foundation Certificate in Art and Technology or Certificate in Art or Animation related course in MAGES or other institutions with similar qualifications
For International, Applicants should have an Equivalent to Year 10** qualification with an average of 65% (** from the respective home country of the applicant) with proof of pass in English
Alternate Admission Requirements
Submit Portfolio and pass the interview with Academic Director and assessment by Academic Board
English Proficiency Requirement
IELTS 5.5 or Pass in the English Language at GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualifications. Applicants who do not have IELTS 5.5 must pass MAGES English Proficiency Test, approved by Academic Board.

Do I need to know coding for these courses?
Since this program is for the beginners, coding is not mandatory. Coding is required for our Advance programs.
How many games will I produce?
Producing games will be part of your curriculum with appropriate guidance and lecturer/mentors support you need to produce games accordingly. You will be required to produce at least 5 games during this program.
You can publish these games on the respective platforms such as itch.io, steam, and play store.
What are the job roles can I apply for post completion of the program
