You need a deep understanding of the current marketplace for video games for a successful career in the video games industry. This course will teach you how to manage game business and will cover other topics of legal issues as well. Business management games will also be taught to nurture the communication skills, business management skills. This 49 hour course by MAGES Institute of excellence will also focus on crowdfunding and steps to launch a crowdfunding offering. Students will also learn how to lead discussions that arise during funding negotiations.

Game Business Management

This course provides students with a deep understanding of the current marketplace for video games in preparation for successful careers in the video games industry. With a focus on entrepreneurialism, the course will cover a wide range of business, management, and legal issues, including an overview of current business models in games, methods for pitching and getting products funded, production management techniques, as well as business start-up nuts and bolts for aspiring entrepreneurs.

This module will also nurture the essential soft skills for students to develop communication skills, business management skills, and attitudes that enable students to creatively solve problems and identify opportunities in the game design industry.
