It is not a secret that the AR/VR will be the next medium of consumption. It has seen unprecedented growth in the last 5 years and this explosion growth will continue into the next ten years.
AR/VR had a market value of $37 Billion market in 2019, it is forecasted by Price Waterhouse Cooper to be a whopping $1,500 Billion by 2030! This kind of growth is unheard of, in fact we have never seen such growth in any technology sectors before!
To put this into perspective, at $1,500 Billion it is 10 times the current global movies and music industry combined! ($150 Billions) and almost doubled the current global smartphone market. ($784 Billions)
This will inevitably open new market opportunities. In fact, it will create impact in almost all sectors such as education, retail, entertainments, health care and architectures.
With those amazing growth, the market will definitely need more AR/VR content. Which will then translate to surging demand for AR/VR developers. Reported by IMDA, the growth for AR/VR Engineers in Singapore is the highest in 2019. And this growth will be strong going into 2022 and beyond.
As you can see, the growth is very real, and it is also happening in Singapore now. The question is how are you positioned to leverage on this growth? How can you as an individual benefit from this? While you can do one of the following:
Setup an AR/VR Studio
Setup an AR/VR platform
Be an AR/VR freelancer
Be a Full-Fledged AR/VR Developer
While no matter which route you choose - One thing is for sure, you definitely need to equip yourself with a certain level of AR/VR skill sets. This is where we, MAGES Institute, will be able to assist you.
And we are in a far better position than anyone else in the market to do that because we run our very own AR/VR Studio – MAGES Studio.
