ADMISSION
Welcome to MAGES Admissions for International Students! We’re happy to have students and professionals from around the world. If you want to study art, technology, and gaming here, this section will walk you through the admissions process to join our MAGES community, providing step-by-step guidance.
STEP 1. Pre-Course Counselling
After enquiring with us, interested applicants are required to book a pre-course counselling session with our Course Counsellors. These counselling sessions aim to provide students with guidance, allowing them to make an informed decision.

STEP 2. Application Submission
Once the applicant has decided on the course they want to pursue, they must submit the completed MAGES Student Application Form to MAGES with the following documents:
- Photocopy of Passport, Birth Certificate, Highest Education Qualification Certificates/Transcripts of Records*
- One recent colored passport-sized photograph with a white background
- Portfolio (if required)
- Documentary proof of the financial ability of applicant/parents in the form of bank statements/fixed deposit accounts/savings accounts to support education and living expenses in Singapore
- Parent’s Employment Letter (required for minors only)
- Parents Passport showing full particulars (required for minors only)
- Photocopy (notarized and translated if not in English)

Notes:
- Applicants will also be required to pay an application fee of SG$817.50 (including 9% GST).
- Application fees can be made payable via cash, NETS, Bank Transfer or Credit Card.
STEP 3. Application Evaluation
After the processing of application forms, the MAGES Admissions Team will check all the information, documents and student eligibility to take the course. On successful evaluation of application documents and eligibility, applicants will receive a “Letter of Offer (LOO)" of the program for their acceptance.
STEP 4. Acceptance of Letter of Offer
To accept the "Letter Of Offer (LOO)", applicants need to sign and email us a scan of the same to our Admissions Team at admissions@mages.edu.sg.
International Students must apply for a Student Pass through Immigrations and Checkpoint Authority Singapore (ICA).
STEP 5. Student Pass Application
International students in Singapore must apply for a Student Pass through Immigrations and Checkpoint Authority of Singapore (ICA), by submitting Forms e16 and V36 to MAGES. After receiving the forms from the students, MAGES offers to apply for the student pass on their behalf by forwarding the details to ICA. This will be done concurrently with signing the advisory note and student contract.
The Student Pass processing time is approximately 4 weeks. Once approved, ICA issues the In Principle Approval Letter, sent via email, enabling entry into Singapore. The Student Pass can be collected at a later date, preferably before Course Commencement.
Please be aware that part-time work and business/profit related activity is illegal for Student Pass holders. MAGES Institute emphasizes the need for undivided focus on intensive coursework.

STEP 6. Contract Signing & Course Fee Payment
Once the LOO is signed and the admission fee is received, MAGES will issue the following documents to the student:
- Advisory Note (Form 12)
- Standard PEI Student Contract
The applicant is required to accept and sign the contract, He/She is also advised to pay the Course Fees according to Schedule B (Course Fees and Installment Schedule) in the Standard MAGES Student Contract.

- Course Fees can be made payable via NETS, Bank Transfer, or Credit Card.
- MAGES Institute of Excellence has adopted the Fee Protection Scheme(FPS) and appointed Liberty Insurance Pte Ltd as its FPS Insurance Provider.

Pre-Departure Information
Students should arrive in Singapore at least 10 days before their course commencement date for an appointment with ICA to collect the Student Pass, and complete the Medical Checkup. Before coming to Singapore, students should ensure they have the following:
- A valid passport for international travel (6 months validity).
- All original copies of your academic transcripts and certificates.
- Accommodation arrangements on arrival. (Contact enquiry@mages.edu.sg if you need help).
- Enough Singapore currency.
- Adequate initial supply of regular medication and prescription from your doctor, if required.
