PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Become a Product Manager & UI/UX Designer in our 6-months immersive program (with career placement support)!

 

Concepts such as problem discovery, user persona research, crafting tailored experiences, conducting user tests and understanding visual design principles will be covered in our UI/UX modules. Students will then be exposed to stakeholder management strategies, product management principles and business strategy in our Product Management focused modules.

 

Showcase your newfound skills in a capstone project integrating design thinking methodologies with UI/UX and Product Management principles.

DURATION: 6 Months (Part-Time or Full-Time; full-time batches are subject to confirmation)

International Students are only offered Full-Time program.

With almost 25 years of experience in the design industry, Rodney has worked on multiple projects for Creative and Philips Design (Singapore, Eindhoven, Hong Kong) before starting NextOfKin Creatives in 2008.

As business increase the number of touch points for their customers such as mobile apps and AR/VR experiences, a comprehensive UI/UX strategy has become vital.

Who is the Professional Certificate Program for?

If you’re looking for a career transition into the dynamic and rewarding UI/UX Design industry, then this Program is for you.

 

You will become adept at UI/UX Design and Web Development through practical hands-on projects, and demonstrate your skills through a Capstone Project which will showcase your employability while solving a real-world business problem.

I do not have any technical background. Can I join this course?

Our Professional Certificate Program are designed for beginners, the first module (Fundamentals) is meant to cover any skill gaps before starting the core skills portion of the Program.

What are the hardware requirements for this Program? Will I have to purchase it myself?

The Professional Certificate in Product Management with UX program requires a Windows or Mac laptop.

 

As UI/UX Design at the individual level is not computationally intensive, a high-end laptop is not required. Please contact us for the updated Minimum and Recommended Specs for the Laptop

What are the entry requirements for this course?

Minimum Entry Requirements

  • 2 credit passes at GCE ‘O’ Level in any subjects excluding English or
  • Or GCSE/IGCSE-5 subject passes including English in Grade A to C
  • Or ITE NITEC or Higher NITEC or equivalent (eg Post Nitec Certificate in Office Skills/Certificate in Business Skills)
  • Or Singapore Integrated Program: Completed IP Year 4
  • Or At least 2 WSQ Statements of Attainment in Workplace Literacy or Numeracy (WPLN) at Level 4 or 5 and above (eg under Employability Skills System (ESS) certification)
  • Or ITE modular certificate at the post-secondary level (non-tertiary) or equivalent
  • Or Foundation Certificate in Art and Technology or Certificate in Art or Animation related course in MAGES or other institutions with similar qualifications
  • For International – Applicants should have an Equivalent to Year 10** qualification with an average of 65% (** from the respective home country of the applicant) with proof of pass in English
