Damien Soh

Damien Soh is a visual artist based in Singapore, specializing in digital illustration. His versatile skill set also extends to freelance work for multinational corporations like Unilever, encompassing roles in visual development and art direction. Having worked as the lead illustrator for the short animation “Pagoda of Peril” for Universal Studios Singapore in 2018, Damien recently made his solo exhibition debut with “The Banquet” at Art Outreach Singapore, hosted at Gilman Barracks.

Tonia Yau

Tonia is a Concept Artist and Educator. With a background in Architecture, she started out in Sydney working as a Scenic Artist and Set Designer for AFTRS, as well as an Architectural Designer at Practec Group. She moved to Singapore to pursue Concept Art and graduated from the FZD School of Design.
With a passion for environment design and worldbuilding, she currently works as a concept artist and lecturer at MAGES Institute.

Justin is a Master’s Degree holder in Game Arts and Design from University of Hertfordshire with 7 years of working experience in the Creative Industry as a CG/3D Artist. He has also worked on a wide repertoire of projects with international renowned brands such as Japan Digital Entertainment (SGames), SAF and other Singapore Government linked companies in making 3D assets. With a passion to teach, Justin aims to inspire future artists to explore and expand the horizons of what is possible.

Kingston Chan is a Concept Development Artist, Art Director, and Educator with over two decades of experience in games, movies, animation, and art production design.
Kingston commenced his role as an educator in 2005 when he was invited to develop curriculums for game art, conceptual design, and digital painting at top schools in the field, eventually serving as Senior Art Director at FZD School of Design for the past 14 years. Previously, Kingston has worked extensively in Japan as a Game Artist at SEGA Co. and Koei Tecmo. Upon returning to Singapore, he was appointed as Art Lead at several local game companies to set up next gen 3D pipelines.
Kingston believes in the importance of learning art fundamentals and design problem solving, especially in our world of everchanging technology. His broad industry expertise combined with a persistent curiosity in new technologies and work processes shows his dedication in advancing our next generation of artists and designers.

Mohd Zaki Bin Ragman

Zaki brings with him more than 18 years of experience in various creative industries, from illustration to animation. Zaki has been a valuable addition to various companies such as Scrawl Studios and Chip & Toons taking up the responsibility of Animation Director in both places. In addition to his illustrious career, Zaki has also been published 5 times – with his latest comic, Badang, being a historical comic based on the Second World War in Singapore. Zaki completed his formal education with MAGES Institute of Excellence, graduating with a Diploma in Entertainment Design.

Jerome graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Animation, from Nanyang Technological University. His directorial debut, Hooked (2010), made official selection in Singapore TBS Digicon 6. He has since directed and produced under various companies for clients such as HDB, Singapore Prisons, People’s Association, Aviva and Google. He now serves as the Resident Producer and Director in Pharaoh Entertainment.

Jimmy is a versatile and accomplished Art Direction and Academic Management professional with more than 13+ years of experience across Visual Designing, Art Direction, Program Direction along with Design, Strategic and Operational oversight for start-ups, design agencies, and eminent educational organizations. Accomplished sourcing, organizing, and acquisition of sponsors such as Wacom, Asus, and APOL for the most prominent digital art and technology contest event in Singapore, with a government-owned Singex, at the largest expo IT event – Sitex 2019.
Exposed to working with clients in the U.S.A., Taiwan, and Singapore markets, he reckoned as an award-winning professional who has gained the stature of being Singapore’s first and the only Wacom Ultimate Master Artist.

Si Jie is a data scientist that is passionate about the art of data science and using data science/AI for good. He is an alumnus of Nanyang Technological University, having obtained a degree in Actuarial Science. Most recently, he completed his Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering with WorldQuant University.
He is currently leading the data product at Finantier and building innovative credit scoring models to help the unbanked in Southeast Asia access better financial services. Prior to this, he was an AI Data Scientist at Vulcan AI, building computer vision solutions for the agricultural industry to analyze mobile and satellite images.

David, an Unreal Engine Authorised Instructor, has about 18 years of experience with companies like Zealot Digital, Digital Perception studios, Ksatria Gameworks etc and currently works for Blackbird Interactive. Some of his work includes the development of tools and components for the proprietary game engine, the development of ZD engine 2.0, game programming, Xbox tech demographics programming. He has also conducted various seminars on 3D Arts, involved in 3D animation for companies like Chevron and immensely contributed in nex-gen API Game Engine Development. David holds a Diploma from IMUS Institute of Science & Technology, from the Philippines.

Luther Chan has more than 10 years of experience in the Game Industry. His strength is in Game Development and Emerging Technologies. He is the Founder of Explosive Barrel an independent game development studio that focuses on creating high quality games and we have been doing so for over 10 years. In addition to creating our own games, they also create games for websites and brands. His previous clients include Ubisoft, Coke, Cheetos, E4, NHS and Air France-KLM. Luther graduated with a Bachelor of Computing (Communications and Media), from the National University of Singapore.

His significant experience in the IT industry enriches both his industrial training and his academic teaching. He has teaching experience in subjects like Games Programming at various Singaporean institutions.
