Environment Design Course
MAGES Institute’s Environment Design course teaches students how to create environments for the entertainment industry, specifically for film and games.
The process of emphasizing “believability” is the key component that sets good environment art apart. Additionally, topics such as lighting, style, composition, and visual cues are covered in the course.
The environment design (Film/Games) course will enable students to develop quick thumbnails and finalize production-ready pieces. Upon completion, learners will have gained the skills and knowledge needed to create immersive environments that are suitable for entertainment industry needs.
Game Environment Design
Designing a game environment perfectly is significant in capturing the players’ interest while playing the game. One of the strategies used at our MAGES Institute is a course in environmental design in which you’ll learn how to create attractive and functional game environments with stunning graphics.
From world-building to architectural designs and natural landscapes, you’ll discover how to add light and texture to your worlds and weave a story into your depicted environment.
We teach the best practice techniques in the industry, including the application of programs such as Unity and Unreal Engine, which aim to evaluate the environments with the gameplay factor in mind while enhancing the aesthetic of the game.
From thinking about the vast open environments and equally vast open zones to the detailed inside environments, This course will help you prepare for the design of environments that the players will be able to navigate and interact with in a very natural way.
Whether the game is a VR or an old-school 2D/3D game, understanding game environment design will help you build environments that bring out the best user experience.
