This course equips professionals with practical knowledge and tools to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks—specifically in the context of the Cyber Essentials Mark framework.
Tailored for SMEs and non-technical teams, the course demystifies key risk domains, threat vectors, and mitigation strategies using relatable business scenarios.
We will be covering the threat landscape & adversary tactics delve deep into the 5 pillars of Cyber Essentials mark:
1. Assets – People, Hardware and Software, Data
2. Secure/Protect – Virus/Malware Protection, Access Control, Secure Configuration
3. Update – Software Updates
4. Backup – Back Up Essential Data
5. Respond – Incident Response
Finally, the learner shall be familiar with the Cyber Essential mark self-assessment template and certification document, and how to get certified by the certification bodies appointed by CSA.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be at least 18 years old with N Level education, English proficiency, and WPLN Level 6 or above. Basic computer skills and ability to use word processing and presentation software are required; no prior work experience needed.
