About the Tableau Course
The foundation of modern data visualisation is rooted in statistics, psychology and computer science. People in almost every field use visualisation to explore and present data. The Data Science Course shows you how to better understand data, present clear evidence of your findings and tell engaging data stories to your target audience.
The Tableau Course by MAGES Institute of excellence gives an introduction to data visualisation and tells more about storytelling with data and exploratory visualisation. You’ll be able to derive trends and insights by performing visual analysis on real-world data.

In this 6 Weeks Part-Time course, you will explore the power of understanding data, enabling you to convey compelling stories and facts to your target audience through impactful visuals and engaging narratives. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Age: 16 years old and above recommended
- Open to all Singapore Residents (Including citizens, PR, LTVP Holders)
Minimum Academic Requirement
2 credit passes at GCE ‘O’ Level in any subjects excluding English Or GCSE/IGCSE-5 subject passes, including English, at Grade A to C
Or ITE NITEC or Higher NITEC or equivalent (eg Post Nitec Certificate in Office Skills/Certificate in Business Skills)
Or Singapore Integrated Program: Completed IP Year 4
Or At least 2 WSQ Statements of Attainment in Workplace Literacy or Numeracy (WPLN) at Level 4 or 5 and above (eg under Employability Skills System (ESS) certification)
Or ITE modular certificate at the post-secondary level (non-tertiary) or equivalent
Or Foundation Certificate in Art and Technology or Certificate in Art or Animation related course in MAGES or other institutions with similar qualifications
For International, Applicants should have an Equivalent to Year 10** qualification with an average of 65% (** from the respective home country of the applicant) with proof of pass in English
Alternate Admission Requirements
Submit Portfolio and pass the interview with Academic Director and assessment by Academic Board
English Proficiency Requirement
IELTS 5.5 or Pass in the English Language at GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualifications. Applicants who do not have IELTS 5.5 must pass MAGES English Proficiency Test, approved by Academic Board.
