The MAGES Concept Art Diploma provides a complete education in environment design, character design, and digital painting. Through studio-based projects and mentorship from working industry artists, students gain the hands-on experience and technical mastery needed to create compelling concept art — covering design thinking, advanced drawing and painting techniques, industry 3D workflow, and client presentation skills.
Students train using industry-standard tools including Blender, Adobe Photoshop, PureRef, and Quixel Bridge, developing both traditional and digital workflows used in professional studios.
Throughout the diploma, you’ll work on studio-style projects that simulate real entertainment production environments, with feedback from mentors who’ve shaped visual identities for indie studios and major franchises alike.

Students in our Diploma in Concept Art and Entertainment Design Program are cultivated in the core fundamentals of both art and design along with the technical execution needed to bring ideas to reality. The program will cover design thinking and research processes, advanced drawing and painting techniques, industry 3D workflow, as well as effective client presentation abilities. Optimised foundational education through our focused 12-month pipeline will ensure students graduate with a vast array of professional skills and an industry ready portfolio.
Potential career paths include Character and Environment Concept Artists, Creature and Prop/Vehicle Designers, Theme Park and Toy Designers, and Game Illustrators.
DURATION: 12 Months (Full-Time)
International Students are only offered Full-Time program.
